To determine the best unversities worldwide, the Times Higher Education Magazine carries out and publishes rankings of the top 400 global universities on an annual basis. It provides a comprehensive comparison of research-intensive universities based on 13 indicators. Those indicators are grouped in five categories: teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income. The rankingsā results are calculated by an independent organization, namely service company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
